The Power of the TPX Baseball Bats

Baseball continues to be one of the most popular sports in the world as new players of all ages are striving to become professionals one day.

It takes a lot of baseball practice sessions along with some physical fitness improvements. However, you won't be able to use the baseball bats that professionals use if you haven't yet mastered the bats that best fit your current abilities.

Unfortunately, there is no perfect baseball bat to use if you really want to build up your skills. Instead, you need to choose from a large selection of baseball bats including Easton, Mizuno and Rawlings baseball bats, and find the perfectly balanced one that feels comfortable and still lets you hit hard shots. Louisville Slugger may be able to help you with those needs since they produce a line of TPX bats to suit all players from young beginners to professionals. Every baseball bat has been uniquely designed to meet a certain set of needs. Once you get a better understanding of the different attributes of the baseball bat along with the materials that make it up, you should be able to realize the true power of all of the TPX baseball bats.

Attributes

The weight of the baseball bat generally applies to aluminum bats because they come in all sorts of different sizes. This attribute is easy to digest since lighter bats are technically easier to swing enabling you to execute the most powerful swings a lot easier. The only way to add more power to the swing is to get a bat that is heavier. Do not get a bat that is too heavy because you may not be able to make the full swing in order to enjoy the added strength. Always make sure you can make the most out of the bat without losing accuracy.

The length is another attribute where longer lengths allow balls to be hit on the other side of the plate. On the downside, bats that are longer can still be more difficult to swing because longer lengths mean more weight added. Plus, you will still feel the weight of the swing if your hands are far away from the center of gravity. Younger folks will have to use a bat that is both light and short to make swings easy.

The extra length may be overridden by diameter of the barrel since that can add to the weight as well. However, these measurements do not vary much with college players having a 2 5/8" limit while other leagues keep it at 2 3/4".

Materials

To further add to the strength and durability of these bats, a certain combination of alloys is used, resulting to a truly unique baseball bat as some of these alloys are exclusive to the TPX baseball bats. The basic allow found in affordable aluminum baseball bats is the 7046 which is quite common amongst competitors. For boosts in durability and performance, the Cu31 alloy proved to be great even for the younger players. High-end bats often have the C405 alloy which boasts considerable hitting power while more expensive bats use the C555 alloy which is even stronger.

For the exclusive alloys, The Scandium XS goes beyond the already powerful C555 by doubling the amount of scandium normally found in other baseball bats. Finally, the highest performing bats have the ST+20 alloy. If these types of TPX baseball bats, similar to DeMarini baseball bats, are too expensive, you can go for the composite ones that have a unique design called the 3X composite technology in which the barrel and handle are designed as separate units, but are forged together to form an advanced bat. These bats are recommended for people that need a forgiving sweet spot.

Hybrid bats are another good alternative if you want the benefits of a composite and an alloy. These designs use a few technologies as well including the H2 Technology which optimizes the entire design while the Exogrid technology ensures top performance and handles stiffness.

Certain attributes and materials combine together to form the TPX baseball bats that are being sold right now. All you need to do is check out the specs of these bats before you by them. If you are uncertain because of the many models, you will have to try them one by one until you find one that you are absolutely comfortable with.
